Flying Cloud Studio
~ White Wall Work Without Corners
I’ve had my work in traditional galleries.
I’ve owned an art gallery; it had white walls and an amazing collection from contemporary artists. Now, my gallery is vintage: sexy and curvy and full of beautiful handmade pieces that could be within four corners. This gallery has wheels: it travels between Coasts and catches your eye. It lives in New Mexico but loves to visit other places. My gallery is a 1953 Flying Cloud Airstream Trailer. Lovingly restored and patiently nurtured, it carries my work and fuels my dreams. On my initial visit to Northern New Mexico, I wanted to buy something unique, something that carried with it a bit of this land’s enchantment. That is what this Gallery holds – thoughtfully handcrafted work from a collection of carefully chosen artists. Whether it is a fine art graphite drawing or oil painting, a thought provoking belt or wallet made from found materials, or a beautifully composed quilt that challenges traditions, Flying Cloud Studio represents work that is both interesting and genuine.
